A younger boy has been discovered alive 5 days after going lacking in a “lion-infested” sport park in Zimbabwe, officers have stated.
Tinotenda Pudu, seven, went lacking from his dwelling in a rural group on 27 December and “unknowingly headed into the perilous Matusadona game park,” a Zimbabwean MP acknowledged.
A search operation was launched and footprints have been found in a valley on 30 December – with the boy miraculously being discovered a day later.
He survived his ordeal by consuming wild fruits and sleeping on a rocky perch “amidst roaring lions [and] passing elephants” within the “unforgiving wild”, Mutsa Murombedzi MP stated.
Labelling Tinotenda’s survival “a true miracle”, the MP wrote in a put up on X: “We’re overwhelmed with gratitude to the courageous park rangers, the tireless Nyaminyami group who beat night time drums every day to get the boy hear sound & get the path again dwelling & everybody who joined the search.

Matusadona, in north Zimbabwe, is dwelling to about 40 lions, in addition to elephants, zebras and crocodiles, in line with Africa Geographic.
