A two-year-old boy and 41-year-old man have been killed whereas two others have been injured in a stabbing incident within the southern German state of Bavaria.

A person, described by police as a 28-year-old Afghan nationwide, has been arrested following the knife assault in a park in Aschaffenburg on Wednesday.

Police stated the 2 severely injured individuals have been receiving hospital remedy and {that a} cordon remained in place within the space across the scene.
