LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — In an unique Epic/MRA ballot Michiganders are sharing their ideas on a hypothetical Governor’s race.
Of these polled, 31% would hypothetically vote for Republican candidate Dick DeVos, however 31% would vote for Democrat candidate Jocelyn Benson and 23% would vote for Unbiased candidate Mike Duggan. Each Benson and Duggan have introduced their marketing campaign whereas DeVos has not.
This can be a hypothetical race as different candidates in each events might get the nomination, together with Senate Majority Chief Aric Nesbitt operating for the GOP nomination, Genesee County Sheriff Chris Swanson operating for the Democratic nomination, former Lawyer Normal Mike Cox and Lt. Governor Garlin Gilchrist.
Voters will select the candidates in August of 2026. Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is not going to be allowed to run once more resulting from reaching the time period restrict of two elections.
