A British skier has been discovered useless on the backside of a cliff within the French Alps.
The physique of the 23-year-old man has not but been formally recognized and the circumstances of his demise are being investigated, authorities say.
He was discovered on Monday close to the Avoriaz ski resort close to the city of Morzine, within the Portes du Soleil area.
Native prosecutor Xavier Goux-Thiercelin confirmed the demise on Friday.
Police from two forces are wanting into what occurred.
The Day by day Mail reported that the person had been snowboarding with buddies earlier than attending a celebration and have become misplaced when making an attempt to ski down the mountain by himself.
A spokesperson for the International, Commonwealth and Improvement Workplace stated: “We are supporting the family of a British man who died in France and are in contact with the local authorities.”
