LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A big brush fireplace on Lansing’s southside tied up two fireplace truck crews and a brush fireplace truck for over an hour Saturday afternoon.
The fireplace was situated in a wooded space south of the South Lansing Pathway simply on the finish of Wexford St.
6 Information was on scene because the crews labored to place out sizzling spots. Bushes within the impacted space have been burned, and a transparent burn sample was seen.

The fireplace comes on the heels of warnings from state and native officers of elevated fireplace dangers within the area. On Thursday, Delhi Township Hearth Chief Brian Ball restricted leisure burns, together with bonfires and yard refuse burns, as a result of danger of spreading fireplace. The restrictions proceed in each Delhi and Alaiedon Townships.
