BWL closes Wooden St. in Lansing for utility work

NOTE: This text has been up to date to precisely state the date officers count on to reopen the highway.

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Some massive detours can be in place on the north aspect of Lansing close to Groesbeck Golf Course for round per week attributable to some utility work the Board of Water and Mild is conducting within the space.

Wooden St. between Lake Lansing Rd. and Barritt St. is anticipated to be closed till subsequent Wednesday, April 30. Within the meantime, the Metropolis of Lansing has offered some detours.

If heading south, the town recommends you go west on Lake Lansing Highway after which flip left onto Larch St. Then, make one other left onto Saginaw St. and one other left onto Fairview Ave. From there, flip left onto Grand River Ave., then proper on Wooden St.

If heading north, the town recommends you head west on Grand River Ave./Oakland Ave., flip proper onto Larch St., after which proper onto Lake Lansing Rd. From there, you possibly can flip proper again onto Wooden St.
