Capturing injures 5-year-old boy in Lansing, police say

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A 5-year-old boy was injured and transported to the hospital after a gun went off in a Lansing residence.

The Lansing Police Division experiences that officers had been dispatched to the 800 block of Vincent Courtroom for a capturing at round 3:00 p.m.

Officers arrived to discover a 5-year-old boy with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening accidents.

Police didn’t make clear the place the gunshot wound was positioned. Police say that at the moment, it is believed {that a} gun went off unintentionally however will not be saying who pulled the set off or the way it went off.

That is an ongoing investigation.
