A cargo airplane has skidded off the runway into the ocean whereas touchdown at Hong Kong Worldwide Airport, killing two individuals on the bottom.
Photos taken after the crash which occurred round 3.50am (8.50pm UK time) confirmed a Boeing 747 cargo plane partially submerged in water close to the airport’s sea wall.
The AirACT airplane, travelling from Dubai, might be seen with escape slides deployed and the nostril and tail sections separated. 4 crew on board survived.

Two safety workers have been killed when the plane struck their car, shunting it into the ocean, stated Steven Yiu, govt director of airport operations at Airport Authority Hong Kong.
“Four aircraft crew on board were quickly rescued by Fire Service Department [which] also rescued two security staff from the sea.
“One was licensed lifeless on the hospital and the opposite licensed lifeless on the scene.
“We are deeply saddened and extend our deepest condolence. We will provide the family with all necessary support and assistance.”

He defined that the safety car was patrolling the north runway alongside a street that was exterior the runway fence when it was struck.
