LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– The Capital Space Transportation Authority (CATA) shall be closed Monday, Sept. 1, in observance of Labor Day.
CATA officers say Fastened-Route, Spec-Tran, Rural Service, CATA Rydz, Connector, Redi-Trip, Night time Owl, and Purchasing Bus providers won’t function. On Michigan State College’s campus, Routes 34, 35, 36, and Lot Hyperlink will conclude at roughly 11:30 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 31. Campus service resumes Tuesday, Sept. 2, at 7 a.m.

The Spec-Tran workplace will stay open on Labor Day from 8 a.m. to five p.m. to schedule rides which are wanted after the vacation. No same-day journeys shall be scheduled. Resident should name 517-394-2282 to e book a trip. Journeys will also be scheduled on-line or by the MyRideCATA app, in keeping with CATA.
CATA routes and providers will resume their common weekday schedules on Tuesday, Sept. 2.
