LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)— A pickup truck hauling a tank of a harmful chemical was hit earlier right this moment on M-52 simply north of Webberville.

Ingham County Emergency Administration says the pickup truck was transporting a trailer tank of anhydrous ammonia, a colorless, pungent gasoline used primarily in agriculture as a nitrogen fertilizer, when a minivan crashed into it on M-52 in Locke Twp.
The crash prompted the tank and its trailer to flip over.
The county says the tank wasn’t carrying an excessive amount of chemical, and all its protecting measures labored correctly. They add that this chemical is “NOT something good to spill!”
The tank was eliminated, and the highway was cleared round midday.
