Russell Model has arrived at Westminster Magistrates’ Courtroom, charged with sexual offences together with rape.

The 49-year-old comic, actor and creator – who has most just lately been based mostly within the US – was charged by put up final month with one depend of rape, one depend of indecent assault, one depend of oral rape and two counts of sexual assault in reference to incidents involving 4 separate girls between 1999 and 2005.

The imposing star, who’s over 6ft tall, wore a black shirt which was unbuttoned to his mid-chest, black denims and sun shades.

He slowly made his means into the court docket’s predominant entrance, surrounded by a scrum of journalists and photographers. Remaining composed and looking out round as he walked, he did not communicate or reply to any of the questions shouted at him as he went.

In a video posted on X after he was charged, Model stated: “I am now going to have the opportunity to defend these charges in court, and I’m incredibly grateful for that.”

In a video referencing the court docket case posted on social media on Thursday, he stated he welcomed the chance to show his innocence and was “going to [his] country right now”.

The comic has denied the accusations and stated he has “never engaged in non-consensual activity”.
