Crown Affair founder Dianna Cohen says she’s had her sights set on a venture like this for years. “Since we launched four and a half years ago, I’ve been dreaming of creating a candle for the home that smells like the refreshing, relaxing Crown Affair experience in-shower,” she explains. “NETTE is one of my favorites in the clean fragrance space, and I’ve been burning their candles in my home since they launched,” Cohen provides. “Carol has a brilliant approach to the fragrance creation process—and it’s a dream that she’s been a Crown Affair customer and part of our community since we launched as well.”
The Scent
Han Pyle describes the candle’s scent profile as a “soothing scent filled with all of Crown Affair’s beautiful markers,” corresponding to yuzu, apple, lemon blossom, tea and freshwater lotus. “We also added some super luxurious woody elements to the base like cedarwood from Virginia and sandalwood along with a luminous amber note,” she says.
