Ms Vince’s lawyer, Sarah Jane Lenihan, companion at Dawson Cornwell, stated her consumer “happily pays tribute to Mr Vince’s many talents, which have been and will be of great value to the community and to the country”.

She stated: “It is only right that Ms Vince has received an award which reflects her extensive contributions throughout the marriage, which the judge acknowledged, during which Mr Vince built the majority of his fortune.”

Mr Justice Cusworth stated Mr Vince might pay Ms Vince in three tranches, of £13.94m, £14.49m and £15.08m, together with curiosity – totalling £43.51m.
