Dempsey’s choice comes almost 9 months after former longtime Township Supervisor Frank Walsh resigned from the publish. Walsh left after a sequence of investigations involving his use of township assets for his private enterprise, in addition to allegations together with making a hostile work setting and considerations about how he doled out township bonus money to workers.
“Throughout the process, the Board invited feedback from staff, volunteers, and residents. Amy Cell Talent assisted in recruiting candidates and evaluating applicants on criteria defined by the Township Board, which included leadership, financial stewardship, and collaboration,” Officers mentioned.
Dempsey and Board members will negotiate his contract within the coming weeks, and as soon as authorized by the total Board, Interim Township Supervisor Tim Schmitt — who was a finalist for the publish — will help in a transition.
