A zoo in Denmark is asking for undesirable pets to be donated – not for additional care however as meals for its predators.

Aalborg zoo in North Jutland printed the bizarre attraction on Fb and its web site.

The submit says they will take smaller reside animals equivalent to chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs, that are “an important part of the diet of our predators – especially the European lynx, which needs whole prey that resembles what it would naturally hunt in the wild.”

The zoo says it can additionally take horses that are lower than 147cm tall and have a pet passport.
