Deputies: 2 significantly damage in Comstock Township crash after driver dozes off

COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Deputies say a minivan and a field truck crashed Friday morning in Comstock Township, sending each drivers to the hospital, after the motive force of the minivan dozed off behind the wheel.

It occurred round 7:20 a.m. on the 6,400 block of E. N Avenue close to S. twenty sixth Avenue.

In response to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s workplace, the motive force of a westbound minivan fell asleep and drifted throughout the middle line, crashing head-on right into a field truck. The crash brought on the field truck to roll.

Each drivers needed to be extricated, deputies mentioned. They have been taken to the hospital with critical accidents.

Investigators say they do not consider alcohol performed a job within the crash.
