LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Tuesday afternoon, two younger adults and three youngsters had been concerned in a high-speed police chase that started in Livingston County and resulted in Lansing, in keeping with Livingston County.

Shortly after 4:30 p.m., deputies from the Livingston County Sheriff’s Workplace say they tried to tug over a stolen 2020 black BMW X5, however the driver would not cease, resulting in a chase on I-96 into Brighton, which changed into a dead-end road.

Whereas driving via Livingston County deputies say the motive force of the BMW hit two different automobiles on the interstate earlier than stepping into Ingham County and ultimately Lansing close to Jolly Rd and Cedar St the place they crashed, hitting a number of different automobiles.

Deputies say 5 folks, together with the motive force, jumped out of the BMW and ran.

Through the preliminary investigation, authorities discovered a 19-year-old man from Lansing they are saying was the motive force. Deputies booked him into the Livingston County jail.

Deputies additionally discovered the 4 different folks from the BMW who’re all underage. They’re 15, 16, 17, and 18 years previous.

Livingston County says, “One of the juveniles had a juvenile apprehension order and was turned over to a juvenile facility in Ingham County. The other juveniles were turned over to parents. The 18-year-old occupant was lodged at the Livingston County Jail for violating his bond conditions from a court case in another county.”

Nobody was injured within the chase or the crash in keeping with Livingston County.
