LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A Detroit lady gained $1 million enjoying the Powerball in early September, the Michigan Lottery introduced Monday. It was her first time getting into the drawing.

It got me thinking, so I took out my ticket and had her read off the winning numbers.”

The successful ticket was bought Aug. 31 at a CVS in Grosse Pointe, Michigan.
