STATEMENT BY BISHOP EARL BOYEA UPON THE DEATH OF HIS HOLINESS, POPE FRANCIS (1936-2025)
My sisters and brothers within the Lord,
When he took the identify of Francis in 2013, Cardinal Bergoglio shocked many. Whereas Saint Francis of Assisi is admired by almost your complete world and most of the people are conscious of his unimaginable witness to Christ, only a few search even to dare to mimic him.
