A Scottish DJ who’s internet hosting a dance music pageant in her dwelling metropolis subsequent summer season has stated it’s “absolutely wild” that 10,000 tickets had been bought in only one hour.

Hannah Laing, 30, has made a reputation for herself within the digital music scene with previous performances at Creamfields, Terminal V, The Warehouse Undertaking, TRNSMT and Parklife.

She has even appeared as a assist act for Hollywood actor and DJ Idris Elba in Ibiza.

The DJ has now unveiled plans to carry her personal pageant in Dundee’s Camperdown Nation Park on 5 July 2025.

Tickets for Doof In The Park went on sale final week, with 10,000 snapped up inside 60 minutes.

The musician has performed at Camperdown Park twice earlier than – first in 2017 at Carnival Fifty Six after which final 12 months for Radio 1’s Huge Weekend.

Laing has been making music for 12 years, with the pageant named after her personal report label, Doof.

She stated: “I’m working with such a great team. Because the festival is my festival, it’s my brand. Ultimately, every decision comes back to me.
