East Lansing boys basketball wins first state championship since 1958

EAST LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – For the primary time since 1958, the East Lansing boys basketball program can name themselves state champions.

The Trojans took down Wayne Memorial, 66-46, within the Division 1 state title recreation on Saturday on the Breslin Heart.

Senior Cam Hutson, who might be enjoying at Saint Louis College subsequent season, had a game-high 20 factors for East Lansing.

After having a team-high 19 factors in Friday’s semifinal win over Orchard Lake St. Mary’s, junior KJ Torbert had 16 factors for the Trojans.
