LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — East Lansing Police confirmed Thursday a juvenile has been recognized as a “person of interest” in an early Saturday, Oct. 25 stabbing incident in downtown East Lansing.
East Lansing Police Division Public Info Officer Lt. Adrian Ojerio informed 6 Information that the juvenile has been “identified and interviewed.” He acknowledged that neither the juvenile nor the 17-year-old sufferer is a resident of East Lansing nor a pupil at Michigan State College.
ELPD reported Saturday {that a} 17-year-old had been stabbed round 1:30 a.m. Oct. 25 after a combat close to the Charles Road Parking Storage. Police reported the younger man was stabbed a number of instances and sustained non-life-threatening accidents. He was transported to an area hospital and underwent surgical procedure.
Ojerio confirmed the 17-year-old has been launched from the hospital.
