ELPD Consolation Okay-9 Silas to make first public look at 'Portray with Police'

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – The East Lansing Police Division’s new Consolation Okay-9, Silas, will make his first public look at Saturday’s “Painting with Police” occasion.

Silas, a seven-month-old Goldendoodle, is coaching to turn out to be an authorized facility canine via Canines for Change’s Facility Canine Program to help in neighborhood outreach, sufferer help and officer wellness.

Silas will probably be at ELPD’s “Painting with Police” occasion on Saturday, February 22. It is from 10:30 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. on the East Lansing Public Library – 950 Abbot Street.
