LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– A big wintry system is headed for Mid-Michigan, bringing with it the potential for freezing rain throughout the area.
Remoted snow showers will begin up Wednesday night, rapidly switching to widespread freezing rain in a single day and lasting into the early morning Thursday.
Ice accumulations by the tip of the morning Thursday might attain 0.1″ to 0.2″ alongside the I-94 hall, with much less icing anticipated farther north and extra icing attainable farther south close to the state line.
A second wintry system will transfer into the Nice Lakes area on Saturday, bringing with it yet one more probability for freezing rain and snow.
