GOP leaders to protest 'boys in women' sports activities' at State Capitol

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– Senator Joseph Bellino (R-Monroe), Rep. Jason Woolford (R-Howell), and different members of the Home Republican Caucus will host a information convention at the moment on the State Capitol to induce the Michigan Excessive Faculty Athletic Affiliation (MHSAA) to honor President Donald Trump’s govt order to maintain boys out of ladies’ sports activities.

In keeping with the White Home, the “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports” govt order was signed on Feb. 5, 2025. It states that many instructional establishments and athletic associations have allowed males to compete in girls’s sports activities, which is extraordinarily unfair and demeaning to girls and women.
