Grand Blanc Mormon church taking pictures suspect recognized

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The Grand Blanc Township Police Division has recognized 40-year-old Thomas Jacob Sanford, of Burton, Michigan, because the suspect killed throughout a taking pictures and hearth at a Mormon church on Sunday that left two victims lifeless and eight others injured.

Grand Blanc Township Police Chief William Renye reviews that Sanford drove his automobile by means of the entrance door of the church and opened hearth on these contained in the constructing.

Two officers responded to the scene, “engaged in gunfire” with Sanford, finally taking pictures and killing him.

Police consider that Sanford “deliberately” set the church on hearth.
