Greater than 1,000 feared lifeless in Sudan landslide, insurgent group says

Greater than 1,000 persons are feared lifeless after a landslide in a village in western Sudan, the Sudan Liberation Motion/Military (SLM) has mentioned.

The insurgent group mentioned just one survivor was discovered, and that the village within the Marrah Mountains space, within the Darfur area, was destroyed.

SLM chief Abdelwahid Mohamed Nour mentioned in a press release that the landslide struck on Sunday, 31 August, after days of heavy rainfall.

He appealed to the United Nations and worldwide help companies for assist in recovering the our bodies.

The SLM controls the realm situated within the Darfur area in western Sudan.
