Greater than 20 folks feared lifeless after ‘terror assault’ in Kashmir

Greater than 20 individuals are feared lifeless after gunmen opened hearth at a magnificence spot in Indian-controlled Kashmir, TV channels have reported.

Police described the capturing close to the resort city of Pahalgam on Tuesday as a “terror attack” and blamed it on militants preventing Indian rule.

Mr Shah stated he had briefed prime minister Narendra Modi and was heading to Srinagar, the principle metropolis in Indian-controlled Kashmir, for an “urgent security meeting with all the agencies”.

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, a key Kashmiri resistance chief, condemned what he described as a “cowardly attack on tourists”.

He stated on X: “Such violence is unacceptable and against the ethos of Kashmir which welcomes visitors with love and warmth. Condemn it strongly.”

Nuclear-armed rivals India and Pakistan every administer a part of Kashmir, however each declare the territory in its entirety.

Militants within the Indian-controlled portion have been preventing New Delhi’s rule since 1989.

Tens of hundreds of civilians, rebels and authorities forces have been killed within the battle.
