Greenland’s voters select gradual method to independence as Demokraatit wins election dominated by Donald Trump

Greenland’s voters have chosen a gradual method to independence from Denmark after the opposition Demokraatit get together received Tuesday’s parliamentary election.

Demokraatit’s chief Jens-Frederik Nielsen advised reporters within the capital, Nuuk: “People want change… We want more business to finance our welfare. We don’t want independence tomorrow, we want a good foundation.”
