Gunmen abduct 25 schoolgirls from boarding college

Gunmen have kidnapped 25 women from a boarding college in northwestern Nigeria, based on police.

The assault befell at 4am on Monday native time (3am UK time), leaving one employees member lifeless and one other injured.

Police spokesperson Nafi’u Abubakar Kotarkoshi stated the assailants had been armed with “sophisticated weapons” and exchanged hearth with guards earlier than abducting the women.

He stated groups had been looking suspected escape routes and surrounding forests to search out the kidnapped college students and perpetrators.

The boarding college is in Maga, in Kebbi state’s Danko-Wasagu space.

No group has claimed accountability for the abductions.

Earlier assaults
