Hamas names three hostages it says will likely be launched tomorrow

Three Israeli hostages who will likely be launched on Saturday have been named by Hamas.

Israel and Hamas are exchanging hostages and prisoners as a fragile ceasefire holds in Gaza.

Ofer Kalderon, Keith Samuel Siegel and Yarden Bibas will likely be launched, Hamas armed wing spokesperson Abu Obeida stated in a publish on his telegram channel.

It follows yesterday’s launch of eight hostages being held by Hamas in Gaza. The group included three Israelis and 5 Thai nationals.

After a chaotic launch that noticed crowds swarm sections of the handover, Israel briefly delayed the releasing of 110 Palestinians anticipated in alternate.

Yarden Bibas was taken within the October 7 2023 assault, alongside his spouse, Shiri Babas, and their two sons, four-year-old Ariel and 10-month-old Kfir – the youngest of Hamas’s hostages.

Yarden is believed to be the one member of the family nonetheless alive.

Earlier this week, Hamas stated his spouse and youngsters had died in an Israeli airstrike earlier than the present ceasefire. The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) stated it was “examining the reliability of the information”.
