Hearth damages eastside house in a single day

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Lansing Hearth Division crews responded to a construction hearth on the 200 block of S. Foster St. early Saturday morning.

Lansing Hearth Division reviews division crews have been dispatched simply earlier than 3 a.m. on reviews of a fireplace in a house with seen flames popping out of a window. When crews arrived on scene, the division reported in a information launch, they found a “moderate amount of smoke from attic vent and fire coming from side window on the home.”

Hearth fighters have been capable of put the fireplace out “quickly.” Following that, hearth officers searched the house to ensure there was no remaining hearth and to make sure there was nobody current.
