LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – Within the blink of an eye fixed, we have made it to the postseason in highschool boys basketball. On Monday, groups throughout the state started their quest for a state title.
In Division 1, Holt erased a 14-point deficit and got here again to take down Lansing Everett, 66-63, and can tackle Mason within the district semifinals on Wednesday. Holt junior Brandon Mercer led the Rams with 24 factors.
In the identical district, Jackson defeated Jackson Northwest, 45-37, and can face Okemos is the district semifinals. Each semifinals will likely be performed at Holt Excessive Faculty.
Elsewhere in Division 1, DeWitt was taking over Lansing Jap at East Lansing Excessive Faculty. After the third quarter, the Panthers turned a one-point lead right into a 61-45 victory over the Quakers. DeWitt will tackle East Lansing within the district semifinals on Wednesday and Waverly will face Grand Ledge within the different semifinal.
