LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – A Monroe County house owner fended off two residence invaders whereas wielding a crossbow Tuesday morning.
Deputies had been dispatched to a house on the 4500 block of Huron St. in Frenchtown Township at round 12:38 a.m. after receiving a name of a house invasion in progress.
In line with the decision, two individuals broke into a house that had two residents inside. One of many intruders was then shot with an arrow by a resident, after which the intruders fled.
The intruder who was shot, a 32-year-old man from Newport, was taken to hospital to take away the arrow and bear surgical procedure. He’s now in police custody whereas he recovers.
The opposite man, 41, of Newport, was arrested shortly after the incident and is at the moment held within the Monroe County Jail.
Police won’t launch the boys’s identities till they’re arraigned.
In line with the Monroe County Sheriff, this incident is believed to haven’t been a random act of violence and appears to have stemmed from a previous altercation between the individuals concerned.
