Howell Melon Competition lower brief attributable to extreme climate

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The Howell Melon Competition going down this weekend ended early because of the extreme climate system shifting by means of the realm.

Competition employees will consider the injury and share updates for Sunday’s actions.

Soggy weekend climate is headed for mid-Michigan

In a social media put up, the competition launched an announcement.

As a result of storm entrance that blew by means of we’ve made the tough resolution to cancel the remainder of tonight’s competition actions. We’re dissatisfied however the security of our festival-goers, employees, and volunteers should come first.
