BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Gov. Landry joined President Trump on the White Home Monday afternoon to announce plans for a $5.8 billion Hyundai metal mill in Louisiana as a part of a $20 billion funding within the U.S.
Based on Louisiana Financial Improvement (LED), the brand new facility can be situated on 1,700 acres in Donaldsonville’s RiverPlex MegaPark and can be Hyundai’s first North American metal plant.
The mission is anticipated to create 1,300 direct jobs with a mean wage of $95,000 and roughly 4,100 oblique jobs, leading to a complete of 5,400 new jobs.
