LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– The Ingham County Sheriff’s Workplace is investigating a lethal crash on Elm and Frost Roads in Leroy Township early Monday morning.
In accordance with Deputies, the Ingham County Sheriff’s Workplace, Meridian Township Police, and Williamston Police Division had been known as to the 300 block of W. Grand River Avenue about an intoxicated man with no shirt who was seen carrying a protracted gun in an condominium car parking zone.
Deputies say witnesses heard the shirtless man say, “Do you want to get shot?” earlier than driving southbound on Elm Highway in a truck with the gun.
Shortly after, many calls had been made to 911 a couple of man in a truck driving recklessly and waving a gun.
A witness then reported a truck had crashed at Elm Highway and Frost Highway. The truck was present in a wooded space on hearth.
Deputies say they may hear the sound of gunshots and ammunition exploding and believed it was coming from the truck.
The Ingham Regional Particular Response Group and the Lansing Police Division Particular Ways and Rescue Group responded to the incident with a drone and armored tactical autos for cover from the exploding ammunition.
A 40-year-old man from Gregory was discovered useless within the truck, Deputies say.
Northeast Ingham Emergency Service Authority assisted with extinguishing the fireplace.
