Israel has launched heavy airstrikes on Baalbek, in jap Lebanon, after it issued an evacuation warning for the town and its outskirts.

Round 4 hours after an evacuation warning, Israeli airstrikes started pounding the jap Lebanese metropolis.

The warning coated all the metropolis, together with Baalbek’s historic Roman temple advanced – a UNESCO World Heritage website – and surrounding areas and key routes within the Bekaa Valley.

The Israeli Defence Forces mentioned it had attacked gas shops in Hezbollah army complexes within the jap area.
