Jackson County man arrested after home capturing incident

Jackson County man arrested after home capturing incident

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– A person was arrested for a domestic-related incident that concerned a number of photographs fired inside a house in Jackson County.

The incident occurred on March 15, 2025, on the 800 block of 18th Road in Summit Township.

Investigators say Devante Alan Eatmon, 32, threatened to kill his household and shot the kitchen ground twice. Deputies on the scene say everybody inside exited the home safely.

Fees towards Eatmon:

Weapons firearms discharge in or at a constructing

Felonious assault

Weapons- firearms possession by a prohibited individual

Home asssault

Eatmon was taken into custody and is lodged on the Jackson County Jail. His bond is ready at $25,000 bond.
