LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — An Ingham County Circuit Courtroom jury has convicted Xavian Soto, of Jackson, of second-degree homicide for the demise of 18-year-old Braylon Shepherd.
Ingham County Prosecutor’s Workplace studies that Soto, who was 19 years previous on the time of the homicide, was additionally convicted of carrying a hid weapon and felony firearm.
In November, the Lansing Police Division discovered Shepherd with a gunshot wound on the 600 block of Sadie Courtroom after he crashed a car.
The LPD and Michigan State Police performed an investigation and arrested Soto inside 24 hours of the capturing.
In response to the Michigan Legislature, second-degree homicide carries a sentence of as much as life in jail.
