Kalamazoo County deputy stops wrong-way driver

Kalamazoo County deputy stops wrong-way driver

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Video exhibits a sergeant from the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Workplace stopping a wrong-way driver on US-131 early Wednesday morning.

At round 1:01 a.m., the sergeant noticed a automobile touring northbound within the southbound lanes of the freeway close to West D Ave.

The sergeant positioned themselves forward of the automobile and tried to cease it with emergency lights. When the driving force did not cease, the sergeant used highway spikes, resulting in the car pulling over on the aspect of the highway.

The driving force was arrested for suspected drunk driving and drug possession and is presently being held within the Kalamazoo County Jail awaiting arraignment.

No accidents have been reported.
