LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Keith City followers from throughout the state are spreading pleasure to the College of Michigan Well being-Sparrow’s youngest sufferers this week—by donating greater than 1,200 stuffed animals.
Sparrow says the stuffies can be given out to youngsters staying within the hospital, and those that are particularly courageous.

“My son, was in the hospital a lot growing up,” says Rebekah Russell one of many organizers. “He was here at Sparrow, and so it’s something that I know is being a parent and having your kid in the hospital to be able to have a stuffed animal or something given to them to be able to hug and make them feel better while they’re here.”
This marks the 18th 12 months that the nation singer’s followers have distributed stuffed monkeys in his honor.
Organizers say that Keith City inspired them to take motion of their communities—which impressed a lady to arrange the stuffed animal drive.
