A five-year-old boy drowned in a swimming pool on a household vacation in Egypt, an inquest has heard.
Kelan Logan-Derench from Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, was discovered on the backside of a resort swimming pool in Cairo with out his armbands on 25 November final yr.
Birmingham and Solihull Coroner’s Court docket heard Kelan was pulled from the water and later died on the El Nile Hospital.
In a written inquest verdict, senior coroner Louise Hunt discovered that Kelan died because of an accident.
He was described by a household pal as a “cheeky, mischievous, happy little boy”.
