LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A girl was shot whereas driving two kids down I-94 in Detroit on Thursday, Michigan State Police say.
In response to MSP, dispatch obtained a name from a feminine driver saying she had been shot alongside I-94 close to Mt. Elliot at round 1:40 p.m. The car had a number of bullet holes in it, and investigators discovered shell casings on the freeway.
The driving force was taken to a close-by hospital for therapy. The 2 kids within the automobile weren’t harm and had been handed off to members of the family after they arrived on the scene.
The freeway was quickly closed for investigation.
At the moment, investigators do not need any info on the suspect, the suspect’s car, or a potential motive for the capturing.
