Lansing Mayor Andy Schor to run for a 3rd time period

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– Lansing Mayor Andy Schor introduced his marketing campaign for a 3rd time period Tuesday night time at Gregory’s Soul Meals on the north facet of the town.

Mayor Schor received his first election for the place in 2017 and was re-elected in 2021. Earlier than taking up the duty of Mayor, he served within the Michigan Home of Representatives and as an Ingham County Commissioner.

A launch from Schor’s marketing campaign obtained by 6 Information says he’s aiming to “build on the progress made during his first two terms,” and can concentrate on job creation, financial growth, housing, and enhanced metropolis providers.

“Lansing is a growing, vibrant city with billions of dollars in job creation, housing, incredible amenities, support services, and economic development happening in every corner of the city,” stated Schor. “I’m proud of the work we have done but I know there is still more to do and that’s why I am proud to announce my re-election campaign for Mayor.”
