LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The votes are in for who will take the seats up for grabs on the Lansing Metropolis Council.
Nov. 4, 2025 Common Election
Clara Martinez and Jeremy Garza have received the race for the 2 Lansing Metropolis Council At-Massive seats. Martinez took residence the plurality, with 33% of the vote. Garza acquired 30% of the votes.
Julie Vandenboom acquired 27% of the vote, and Aurelius Christian took residence 10%.
Within the Ward 2 race, Deyanira Nevarez Martinez took residence 72% of the vote as of 11:52 p.m., together with her opponent, Eric Alquist, taking residence 28%.
For Ward 4, the race was somewhat nearer, with Peter Spadafore taking residence 59% of the vote, and Heath Lowery taking residence 41%.
The Lansing Metropolis Council has 8 members — 4 At-Massive and 4 for every ward. 2 At-Massive and a couple of Ward seats are put up for election each odd yr.
