LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — With a blast of chilly air and snow hitting mid-Michigan, Lansing Mayor Andy Schor has activated the town’s chilly climate emergency plan, generally known as Code Blue.
A information launch from the Mayor’s Workplace introduced he’d made the choice to activate the applications and chilly climate protections after consulting with each Lansing Hearth Division’s Emergency Administration Division and the Division of Human Relations & Group Providers (HRCS).
The Code Blue goes into impact at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20 and can final till 8 a.m. Monday, Dec. 23.
