LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The Lansing Police Division is celebrating the fortieth anniversary of its Okay-9 unit.

In response to the LDP, the canine unit was first shaped in 1985 and is now one of many largest canine models in Michigan.

Every German Shepherd is skilled in obedience, monitoring, handler safety, searches, finding weapons and proof, LDP experiences. Whereas not on the clock, the canine unit will go to native faculties and carry out demonstrations.
