Lansing police search suspect after teen boy shot, in secure situation

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– This morning, a teenage boy was shot in Lansing, Sergeant Gino Tocco confirms with 6 Information. Police say the teenager boy is in secure situation with non-life-threatening accidents.

Police blocked off the intersection of New York Avenue and Whyte Avenue, a couple of blocks west of Bancroft Park, round 4 a.m. The intersection has since opened.

Police informed our 6 Information crew that they had been looking for the suspect. They imagine this was an remoted incident, and nobody else was injured.
