LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– A Satisfaction flag ceremony will happen at Metropolis Corridor on June 3 to kick off 2025 Satisfaction Month.
Metropolis officers say elevating the flag marks the start of a sequence of Satisfaction occasions in Lansing, together with the Lansing Satisfaction Competition on Saturday, June 28, in Previous City.
“It’s great to know that the city of Lansing, which is home to so many members of the LGBTQIA+ community, is welcoming and supportive of so many people,” mentioned Ben Dowd, president of Lansing Satisfaction. “The city’s support is instrumental in us creating a safe, inclusive environment not just for the annual Lansing Pride festival, but every other day of the year as well.”
The Satisfaction flag ceremony and the Lansing Satisfaction Competition are free and open to all ages.
